ADDITIONAL STRUGGLES INCLUDE:

Unique position unlike any other position on the team
Little to no support as a young keeper
Coaches focus on the rest of the team as that is the majority and they don’t have as much experience with the goalkeeper position
Very few other sports have positions with this type of pressure and little to no positive reward (like scoring)
Lack of training and much criticism when errors are made
No sense of community

We provide support in all facets of the goalkeeper position to give players a sense of community, bolster their courage, and grow their understanding of how to be successful!

The USYS GK Club does not just give content to goalkeepers and send them on their way. We want to be part of their journey and give them a sense of community so they feel like they have an army behind them as they develop both on the pitch and in life. Our team will interact with our club goalkeepers on a regular basis to ensure we provide the support and guidance they need in all areas of this unique and challenging position.

GK Club Philosophy: US Youth Soccer Goalkeeper Club was established to give the neglected position of goalkeeper a sense of community with tools and support to help goalkeepers of all levels be successful all around the US not only in goal but in life!

Purpose: To give guidance, love & support to the goalkeeper position with the focus of education, community and enjoyment! We know you’re the last line of defense on the field but now you can have an army behind you everywhere you go in your journey as a keeper!

Goal: Our goal as the national goalkeeper club is to help keepers enjoy the position while giving them all the tools we wish we had growing up to help them be the best they can be on and off the pitch!!!

Eligibility: We serve goalkeepers of all skill levels under the age of 19. Regardless of whether you play on a competitive team, on a recreational team, or with your friends, we want to give you the opportunity to access all the knowledge, support, and community we have gathered for goalkeepers.
