Keeper Wars Ink is seeking candidates for the position of Video Production Intern.
We offer video services at each of our events for participants to purchase. This includes providing GoPro cameras to rent, as well as using footage that families capture with their own devices. Our video department then uses this footage to create highlight films for the goalkeepers. Our competition platform is designed for not only the development of the goalkeeper, but also as a recruiting opportunity by those keepers who wish to pursue playing in college and beyond.
Video Production Internship
Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in video production duties and assist our Director of Social Media and Videography. This is an unpaid internship for college credit only.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Looking for someone who is interested in sports videography and making highlight reels
- This person will be assisting our videographer, post events (There is no travel involved)
- Viewing gameday footage with length that ranges from 45min -1hour for each SD card
- Organizing the footage for smoother process and condensing 1 hour footage to 5 min using best judgement
- Researching new editing methods
- Finding non-copyrighted music that fits the reel
Personal Skill Requirements
This person must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to meet deadlines, have the drive to learn about editing and interested in sports videography
Software Requirements: Adobe Premiere Pro
- Know the basic functions of the software. Such as using the razor tool, text tool, color correction and figuring out the correct sequence settings for our footage
- Know the difference between project window, source window, timeline window, program window and using graphics for intros/outros
