The Rams Weren't the Only Champs in California Super Bowl Weekend!

"To put on the first Keeper Wars National Qualifying event in my home town was a special event for the whole KWI family. We pride ourselves in working with good people that want to give back to the keeper community. Our friends at Cal North, Turlock Sports Park and TSP FC were a huge part of making this event possible and are people in the game of soccer for the right reasons. 

The event was a major success with perfect playing conditions brought to us by the lovely 70 degree Cali weather! Over 130 keepers from 4 different states came out and gave it their all at our event! The community of keeper families coming together is unlike anything else in the soccer world and we are blessed to get to be a major part of that. 

As the games were underway, burgers grilled, balls chased, music played and friendships made, it was the place to be in Turlock, California this weekend leading up to the Super Bowl. As in any battle, there was blood, sweat and both happy and sad tears shed on the fields. We believe that the lessons learned from our competition for future matches and off the field into life surmounts all the hardships these young keepers faced this weekend. 

For the keepers joining the LA Rams on the championship podium this past weekend congratulations, it was well deserved! All Keepers that took first place in their age bracket will have an opportunity to join us at our 2nd annual National Championship, in Orlando, Florida in July!  My staff and I were stopped many times throughout the tournament to let us know how blown away they were by all the talent at our event from the 9U keepers all the way to our 19U brackets! Our keeper community has a bright future ahead with you all! 

We are excited to announce that we will be back soon and look to build an annual event in my hometown with the amazing people that have helped us grow from the beginning! We appreciate each and every family that has been a part of our events, our club, our community and we look to only build and do more for this one of a kind position with your continued support!"
